The 34th Sunday of the Year is where we celebrate two things: the fact that Christ has won the eventual battle between good and evil, and that the young people of the Church are prepared to fight for what is right. In our lives we still have to battle against injustice and it is the special insight of the young that they often see it more clearly than older people, who think they have more to lose.
