Our objects

  • Raise aspirations and help students explore a wide range of future pathways.
  • Provide impartial, up-to-date careers advice on colleges, apprenticeships and employment.
  • Develop key employability skills such as confidence, communication and problem-solving.
  • Offer meaningful encounters with employers, colleges, universities and apprenticeship providers.
  • Deliver personalised support, including careers interviews and tailored SEND guidance.
  • Provide real workplace experiences through work experience and workplace visits.
  • Embed careers learning across the curriculum through RSHE, SAINT lessons and subject links.

 

Student Outcomes

By taking part in our Careers Programme, students will:

  • Understand their post-16 and post-18 options.
  • Develop strong employability and life skills.
  • Recognise the skills and qualifications needed for different jobs.
  • Build confidence in planning their next steps.
  • Experience at least one work placement before leaving Year 11.
  • Meet employers and providers through events and assemblies.
