- Raise aspirations and help students explore a wide range of future pathways.
- Provide impartial, up-to-date careers advice on colleges, apprenticeships and employment.
- Develop key employability skills such as confidence, communication and problem-solving.
- Offer meaningful encounters with employers, colleges, universities and apprenticeship providers.
- Deliver personalised support, including careers interviews and tailored SEND guidance.
- Provide real workplace experiences through work experience and workplace visits.
- Embed careers learning across the curriculum through RSHE, SAINT lessons and subject links.
Student Outcomes
By taking part in our Careers Programme, students will:
- Understand their post-16 and post-18 options.
- Develop strong employability and life skills.
- Recognise the skills and qualifications needed for different jobs.
- Build confidence in planning their next steps.
- Experience at least one work placement before leaving Year 11.
- Meet employers and providers through events and assemblies.
