Employers
At Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School, we are committed to preparing our students for the world of work by building strong partnerships with employers. Your involvement helps young people develop the skills, confidence and understanding they need for future success.
How Employer Engagement Supports the Gatsby Benchmarks
Working with employers helps us meet several key Gatsby Benchmarks:
- Benchmark 2 – Labour Market Information:
Employers provide real insight into job roles, career routes and industry expectations. - Benchmark 4 – Linking Curriculum to Careers:
Employer talks and workshops help students see how subjects apply in real workplaces. - Benchmark 5 – Encounters with Employers:
Meeting professionals inspires students and raises aspirations. - Benchmark 6 – Experience of Workplaces:
Visits and placements give students first-hand understanding of work environments. - Benchmark 7 – Encounters with Further and Higher Education:
Apprenticeship providers and training organisations support students in exploring post-16 and post-18 pathways.
Your involvement directly strengthens the quality and impact of our careers programme.
