Drama
Our Drama curriculum provides students with opportunities to explore and express creativity, empathy, and collaboration, building essential skills that contribute to a well-rounded education. Through the study of Drama, we aim to help students develop confidence, communication skills, and an appreciation of the performing arts. We believe every student should have the opportunity to experience and understand the power of storytelling, character exploration, and the cultural significance of theatre.
Students engage with various forms of drama, from improvisation and script analysis to performance and technical production, enabling them to discover their unique potential for self-expression and teamwork. Whether performing individually or as part of an ensemble, students gain insights into human experiences, developing skills that enhance empathy, self-awareness, and resilience. Our curriculum also connects Drama with broader cultural and artistic contexts, fostering an appreciation for other creative arts.
All students have access to the Drama Department's resources, providing support for classroom learning, independent study, and exploration of potential careers in the arts. Through Drama, we strive to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts and equip students with skills that extend beyond the stage into all aspects of life.
